Please note that this post is about my own personal experiences and should be read as such. Whilst I will share what was required of me to do as per Nigeria's requirements note that travel requirements are constantly changing and as such please check the relevant government pages for up to date information. Red and Amber listed countries are regularly updated so it is important that you check before your travel. Different countries have different requirements and it is not a one size fits all...
Hey! If you haven’t read my Dubrovnik post head over there first as it’ll give a bit of insight to this post. We went to Mostar, Bosnia for the day as it’s not too far from Dubrovnik and we thought, why not? The first thing I noticed upon arrival is that the EU free roaming does not apply here so I quickly switched my data off. Aside from that there was a distinct difference between Mostar and Dubrovnik and whilst they are neighbouring countries they are different in their own right. We...

Hey I'm back with another travel post and this one marks my first holiday (of sorts) in 2019. I went with two of my girlfriends to Dubrovnik, Croatia for a week and I had a lovely time. Read on to find our more of what I got up to. Tuesday We actually arrived just before 12 noon which is before the check in time but we were able to get access to our room a lot earlier which is always nice. We stayed at Tirena Sunny Hotel which is 3* and a part Valamar Argosy Resorts and Hotels. They actually...

Tuesday 3rd July Arrived in Hong Kong and used the airport express to get to our hotel. We had a lovely and very filling lunch at a restaurant not too far from our hotel. We then decided to chill in the hotel Wednesday 4th July Disneyland! For the first time ever! The rides made me feel a bit unwell, perhaps due to motion sickness or the very hot weather? Or maybe I'm just getting old? Who knows but all in all I had a great time! It's not the biggest one but I think it's a good starting point...
Sunday 1st July Today was all about Ha Long bay. We booked a one day cruise which gave us a nice overview of what was on offer. It's around a three hour coach ride from Hanoi which isn't too bad. As you can imagine it's a pretty crowded place and you have to make sure that you keep your day pass with you. I won't be saying too much as I think that pictures will do it more justice but it was a beautiful day.

Saturday 30th June Touchdown Hanoi! Due to a few delays at the airport we arrived much later than expected. First impressions of Hanoi as the capital of Vietnam? Pretty cool and chilled. Our hotel was situated in the old French quarters which was ideal and right at the heart of the action. As the name suggests, this part of Hanoi serves as a throwback to how the architecture and design of the city was whilst under French ruling. Nowadays it is a thriving commercial area of sorts that caters...
Wednesday 27th June Nha Trang was the place that we chose as our relaxation spot so I really did not do much, if any 'touristy' things. Our night train arrived in the early hours of the morning and the hotel was not ridiculously far from the station which was good. The vibe was so different to that of Ho Chi Minh, understandably so. We were conveniently located near the beach though I would say that it wasn't the most beachy place I've been to. There was another area that had more room but of a...

Sunday 24th June After a long coach journey I have finally arrived in Ho Chi Minh. A point of advice is that it is far better to travel from Phnom Penh to Ho Chi Minh as it geographically makes more sense. We travelled from Siem Reap-> Phnom Penh-> Ho Chi Minh. Why? We were still deliberating on if we would spend more time in Cambodia in another city but apart from that don't make the same mistake that we did. The coach used travelling to Phnom Penh was great and the best coach I've been...
Friday 22nd June Today was the day that we went to Angkor Wat- the main reason for our visit to Siem Reap. You have to purchase your tickets beforehand and there are 3 options; a day pass, 3 day and 7 day pass. We opted for the day pass which was $37 (Around £29). Be careful where you buy your tickets and make sure that it is an official place as there are counterfeit ones. Luckily our hotel was able to hook us up and we went to the right place. You'll have to take a photo at the venue using a...
