Friday 22nd June Today was the day that we went to Angkor Wat- the main reason for our visit to Siem Reap. You have to purchase your tickets beforehand and there are 3 options; a day pass, 3 day and 7 day pass. We opted for the day pass which was $37 (Around £29). Thursday 21st June First day in Siem Reap and one where my emotional rollercoaster hit its peak. Today was also the day I realised that it's ok to cry and it relieves stress somewhat, at least it did for me. Monday 18th June Unfortunately our flight was delayed so we had to rearrange a few things that we decided to do. All hope was not lost however and it worked out for the best as this day happened to be the Queen Mother's birthday which was also a public holiday. Some buildings and museums actually had different closing times due to this.
